Working Together to Strengthen Organic Farming Through Innovation

Organic farming plays a central role in the sustainable development of agriculture and society in Baden-Württemberg. Given the challenges posed by climate change, resource scarcity, shifting market demands, and societal expectations, the further development of organic farming is of crucial importance. Innovative approaches are needed to strengthen productivity, resilience, and sustainability in equal measure. At the same time, new technologies, agroecological approaches, and societal transformation processes are opening up a wide range of opportunities for the organic sector. The research program “Working Together to Strengthen Organic Farming Through Innovation” addresses this by supporting applied research that makes concrete contributions to the further development and resilience of organic farming.
